Headstart is still in demo mode so we will have to adjust accordingly. I am thinking I’ll play the piano part live. Cebs, I probably am going to change the drums in this demo so feel free to make your own groove as long as it feels natural. It may be even cool to play the whole song on SPD with dark, Low Pass filtered drums. Michael, for you, I’d find a cool fat synth patch that fills in sonic gaps but isn’t distracting. Maybe strings with a synth underneath? Probably only play during choruses and post chorus. Also this version doesn’t have the new post chorus, but I did write the part in the chart so follow the chart on that. I’ll also send a video explaining what I changed regarding that.
Similar to Headstart, this one is not quite finished. Structure wise, we will play exactly like this up until the end. After second Post Chorus, we will stay big and do a full band chorus and then go to a down post chorus. So it is the opposite as the rest of the song. Build wise, think Blu by Jon Bellion, how at the end he does the “Fall into your Blu” part huge and full band. I’ll make sure the track is ready for then too. Michael, I think you could play the piano in the down chorus (I used an upright from Keyscape, but use whatever) and then some synth or horn for Post Chorus / Big Chorus.
